Cottage area near the Orava Dam We cordially invite you to our modern AKORD cottage complex, which is located on the banks of the Orava Dam. We offer stylish yet comfortable accommodation in two apartments and two renovated cottages. The beautiful environment of the Orava Dam is perfect for water sports, hiking, romantic cruises and fishing. Treat yourself and your loved ones to a holiday full of active relaxation and great experiences. Due to its facilities, the cottage complex is also suitable for organizing company trainings or various family celebrations. We are happy to welcome all families with children, active seniors, passionate tourists, fishermen and skiers.

All year round we offer accommodation in apartments and cabins with a total capacity of 23 beds. The complex is rented as a whole, which consists of:

Accommodation in apartments offers modern transitional housing for 4-5 people. As soon as you enter, you will be enchanted by the open space decorated in light colors, in which the kitchen part is connected to the living room. After a beautiful day spent by the water, put on a good movie and relax on the comfortable couch. In the kitchenette, an induction hob, electric kettle, mini fridge and coffee maker will help you prepare fast food. The night part consists of a bedroom in which a double bed will ensure your undisturbed sleep. If necessary, you have a folding couch at your disposal, which serves as a full-sized bed for two people. In apartment no. 1 can also accommodate a mattress for another person. If you come with a small child, we will be happy to lend you a cot. A bathroom with shower and toilet offers refreshment. To make you feel as comfortable as possible, we have prepared towels for you, and the ladies will certainly be pleased with the hair dryer. You can enjoy morning coffee and sunsets on the terrace with outdoor seating, from where you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of the Orava Dam.

Newly renovated cabins are suitable for families of 4-7 members. In the ground floor there is a kitchenette connected to the living area. You can relax on the sofa, for example, while watching TV or playing fun board games. In the kitchenette, you can prepare a tasty meal with the help of a refrigerator, electric kettle and induction hob. Treat yourself to lunch together at a nice dining table. You can find the night part in the attic, to which you will be led by wooden stairs. A double bed, separate beds and, if necessary, separate mattresses will ensure a restful sleep. Another full-sized bed will be created after unfolding the sofa in the living area. You have a bathroom with a shower, toilet, hairdryer and soft towels. Mosquito nets are installed on the windows, which you will appreciate especially in the summer.

For joint activities or family celebrations, there is a fully equipped common room and kitchen, which can be rented by agreement. This space is also suitable for organizing company events, training sessions or family gatherings. Take advantage of the nice sunny weather to stay on the common terrace, where there is a gazebo and outdoor seating. Organize a proper garden party with your family and friends. You can use the fireplace, grill and kettle to grill meat and vegetable specialties. For even greater comfort, you will find a fully equipped kitchen and separate toilets on the ground floor. We also thought about your little ones, who can play with nice toys. Enjoy your free time by playing beach volleyball, football or badminton. We are also happy to lend you electric bicycles, jet skis, sailboats or ski mountaineering equipment. There is a dedicated space for storing your bicycles, children's bouncers and skis. During longer stays, you can use a washing machine with a dryer and an iron. Use the WiFi internet connection to contact the world around you. Parking is provided in a private parking lot directly in front of the building. Upon agreement, your four-legged friend can also enjoy his vacation with us.

And what activities does the area offer? The banks of the Orava Dam are ideal for swimming, water sports and sunbathing. Your children will surely be delighted if you go with them to the Kinderland children's interior center. During your stay with us, you can take trips to the wider area. We recommend you to visit several interesting places: the statue of Jesus Christ in the village of Klin, the wooden Gothic church of All Saints in Tvrdošín or the Bobrov Raľ Memorial Reserve in Podbieli. Horse riding in the nearby Ranch u Edyho will also be a nice experience. A lot of adrenaline and fun awaits you in Laser Game Vulkán, and the Tank Ride in Podbieli will certainly be unforgettable. If you are a coffee lover, the world's largest mosaic made of coffee beans and other interesting exhibits await you in the Oravacafe Museum. In winter, you can enjoy great skiing in several ski resorts. The closest you can get to the Námestovo – Laz ski resort, the Nižná Uhliská Ski Center and the Krušetnica Ski Resort.
