Object description
In a historic building in Wallachia, after careful reconstruction, the original meets the modern.
Thanks to the sensitive approach, you will easily get the impression as if time has stopped at the place.
The positive thing is that the building has never undergone significant construction modifications.
Therefore, we were able to work with the object in an almost authentic state.
Our goal was to adapt the building to modern living requirements.
The ground became two bedrooms, and the shack became a bathroom.
The original hall is accessible through an all-glass door leaf with an entrance to the garden.
Thanks to the reconstruction, the cottage has preserved its contextual appearance.
The cottage is located in a built-up area.
