Chata Ballek in Oravicie offers generous spaces on the ground floor and two above-ground floors! On the ground floor there is a common room with a TV, a fireplace, a couch and a rocking chair, which is connected to a fully equipped kitchen. The equipment consists of a dishwasher, an electric stove with an oven, a refrigerator with a freezer, an electric kettle, a microwave oven, a blender, and a dining area. From the common room, it is possible to go out to a covered terrace with seating and a view of the garden. There is also a separate toilet on the ground floor.

On the upper floors of Chata Ballek there are 6 bedrooms with 18 beds and 3 extra beds. The first floor consists of 4 bedrooms (2 of which have a balcony), two shared bathrooms with toilets and another (smaller) fully equipped kitchen. On the top floor you will find two rooms and another common room with a TV, couch, beanbags, board games and children's games. WiFi can be connected throughout the cottage.

In the garden you have a gazebo connected with a place to store skis / bicycles, another outdoor seating area, a grill, a fireplace with benches and sticks for grilling, 2 goulash kettles, a children's slide, a children's swing and a garden swing. By agreement, it is possible to borrow the tap equipment. Trouble-free parking right next to the building.

Chata Ballek is located in the north of Slovakia in the Western Tatras, in the recreation area of Oravice. There are many hiking trails and cycle paths in the vicinity. Alternatively, you can go for a simple walk in the fresh air in the ubiquitous forests. Thermal pools and the ski resort Meander Thermal & Ski Resort are located within walking distance of Ballek Cottage, where you can relax in indoor and outdoor thermal pools, or relax in the wellness center. During the winter season, you can end the day here directly from the ski lift. Other ski resorts are nearby - Ski Vitanová, Zverovka-Spálená, Ski Zuberec and Ski Brezovica. It is also possible to visit the Orava Castle or the Museum of the Orava Village in Zuberec. The very popular Polish water park in Chocholow is only a 20-minute drive away, and the tourist-popular city of Zakopane can be reached in 35 minutes.
