The Ballek Cottage in Oravice offers generous spaces on the ground floor and two above-ground floors! On the ground floor there is a common room with a TV, fireplace, sofa and rocking chair, which is connected to a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen has everything you would expect from home, including a dishwasher, coffee maker, electric stove with oven, refrigerator with freezer, kettle, microwave, blender, dining area, plates, bowls, cutlery, pots, glasses... From the common room you can go out onto a covered terrace with seating and a view of the garden. There is also a separate toilet on the ground floor.

On the above-ground floors, the Ballek Cottage has 6 bedrooms with 18 beds and 3 extra beds. The first floor above ground consists of 4 bedrooms (2 of which have a balcony), two shared bathrooms with toilets and another (smaller) fully equipped kitchen. On the top floor you will find two rooms and another common room with a TV, sofa, bean bags, board games and children's games. You can connect to the WiFi network throughout the cottage.

In the garden you have a gazebo connected to a place for storing skis / bicycles, additional outdoor seating, a grill, a fireplace with benches and sticks for roasting, 2 goulash kettles, a children's slide, a children's swing and a garden swing. It is possible to rent a tap by arrangement. Easy parking directly at the property.

The Ballek cottage is located in the north of Slovakia in the Western Tatras, in the Oravice recreation area. There are many hiking trails and cycle paths in the area. Alternatively, you can go for a simple walk in the fresh air in the ubiquitous forests. Within walking distance of Chata Ballek are thermal pools and the Meander Thermal & Ski Resort, where you can relax in the indoor and outdoor thermal pools, or relax in the wellness center. During the winter season, you can end the day here directly from skiing. Other ski resorts are nearby - Ski Vitanová, Zverovka-Spálená, Ski Zuberec and Ski Brezovica. It is also possible to explore the Orava Castle or the Orava Village Museum in Zuberec. The very popular Polish aquapark in Chocholowo is only 20 minutes away by car, and the popular tourist town of Zakopane can be reached in 35 minutes.
