Cottage Korcháň is situated next to the forest, on the outskirts of the village Raková, part Korcháňovci, in the district Čadca. It is part of the captivating region of Kysuce near the border with the Czech Republic and in its vicinity you will come across natural curiosities, such as the Megoňky Rock Balls and the Korňanský oil spring. In Čadca you can visit the Kysucké Museum or swim in the Municipal Swimming Pool and Swimming Pool. You also have excellent access to the Snow Paradise Veľká Rača Oščadnica resort, where you can go downhill, cross-country and night skiing, while there are also various attractions for children, including a bobsled run. We recommend the moderately demanding Kysucká cycle route and your holiday in the region would not be complete without a visit to the attractive Museum of the Kysucká village of Vychylovka with a unique historical forest railway.
