Chata Maruška is perfect for people who have had enough of the hustle and bustle of the city and want to relax in nature. Our cottage is located in the cadastre of the village of Lysica, in the district of the city of Žilina, approximately 8 km from Terchová. The surroundings are perfect for cyclists, hikers, skiers, but also for those who just want to relax on the balcony with a cup of coffee.

Upstairs there are 3 rooms with double beds and one room with 2 double beds. Of course, there is also a bathroom with a shower connected to the toilet.
On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, electric oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer...), a large living room with a fireplace and a TV with access to a balcony with seating and a rocking chair, a small room with a sofa bed for 1 to 2 people with children's corner and another bathroom with shower and toilet.
You will definitely not want to sit only inside. That's why we also have outdoor seating under the balcony, a kettle and a grill ready for you. The area is not fenced, but that's what our cottage is about, so that you can experience nature and the children get to know the surroundings.
And what would we recommend you to see in the area? It's a lot. So, for example, the very popular Jánošík holes, Chleb, the 30 m lookout point Terchovské srdce, Malý and Veľký Rozsutec or just a walk along Terchová where a train runs and there is a statue of Juraj Jánošík and its exhibition or a beautiful church where there is a carved wooden Bethlehem. Winter is perfect for lovers of skiing and snowboarding. There are 12 ski tracks in Terchová, and there is also the possibility of evening skiing in Pasek. In the center of the village is the Gavurky resort with 2 ski lifts, a ski school and a rental shop. Lovers of cross-country skiing will find a cross-country track near Bránica, the length of which is up to 15.705 km.
The city of Žilina, Budatín Castle, the Fairy Tale Forest in Nezbudská Lúčka, the Slovak Astronomical Clock in Stara Bystrica, the Water Works, the Považ Art Gallery, the Dubeň Observation Tower, the Žilina Swimming Pool and much more are definitely worth mentioning.
