Chata Piecky Slovenský raj welcomed its first guests on August 13, 2005. It was created by the reconstruction of the original log building from the beginning of the 20th century, which belonged to one of the first buildings in the Hrabušická Píla settlement in the northern part of the Slovak Paradise. Its name is derived from the former sawmill, and even today, several original log houses from the end of the 19th century can be found here.
Due to its location, Chata Piecky is a good starting point for routes to the gorges of the Slovak Paradise, especially to the gorges of Piecky, Veľký Sokol, Suchá Belá, to Kláštorisko and, last but not least, to the valley of Veľká Bielá vody at Blajzle or Kopanec.
In addition to the possibility of summer and winter tourism, it also offers various outdoor activities from climbing in summer and winter, through mountain biking, skiing, ski mountaineering, fishing and river rafting.
Chata Piecky offers its guests accommodation in the pleasant environment of Eastern Slovakia, the village of Hrabušice, the district of Spišská Nová Ves and the Košice region. The surroundings of Spiš, Slovenská raj and Hnilacek vrchy are ideal for hiking, mountain biking, skiing, ski mountaineering, fishing or planning rivers.

The building has 9 rooms with bathroom, refrigerator and TV. There is also a dining room with a fireplace, a bar and a summer terrace.
