Chata Šafrán is located in a beautiful environment on the edge of the village of Donovaly in a quiet part of the forest. The ski resort Park Snow is one of the best in Slovakia, while the part focused on children's visitors and their skiing lessons - Fun Park, is the second largest of its kind in Europe. Dog sled races are also held every year in the Snow Park area, even at the level of the European and World Championships. Near the cottage, there is a wellness center for relaxing and warming up the body in Penzión Šafrán, Encián, Almet and sports hotels.

The holiday cottage for a maximum of 8 people is suitable for groups and families. Here you will find a common room with a tiled stove, TV, satellite, DVD and CD player. The building also includes a balcony with a terrace for sunbathing, a kitchen and a newly renovated bathroom. There are 3 bedrooms available for sleeping. There is also a WiFi network in the building. Near the cottage you will find a brick gazebo with electric lighting, a sitting area with the possibility of grilling. In the summer, a garden grill, a kettle with a tripod, a sandpit, a children's pool and two bicycles are available free of charge. Children's skis, sledges, children's bobsleighs and gliders are available for our guests in the winter. In the case of your request, we can fill a cooling display case for €30.

In summer, the main attraction of Donovál, in addition to its natural attractions, is the adrenaline center Fun Arena - with a 900-meter long bobsleigh track, a rope park, trampolines and a climbing wall. Even your little ones will definitely have a great time in Donovaly, in addition to the already mentioned, in the unique village of Habakuky, where they will be welcomed by the magical world of Pavel Dobšinský's fairy tales and a mini zoo with animals. We are part of the attractive environment of the Park Snow Donovaly ski resort, just 300 m from the Nová hoľa ski slope. In winter, there is the possibility of snowboarding, cross-country and classic skiing. Here you can also enjoy evening skiing, ice skating, riding on snowmobiles or horse-drawn carriages, snow-paragliding, unique dog sledding or riding on scooters. All year round, the surroundings are suitable for hiking, cycling, mushroom picking or picking forest fruits. You can also visit the nearby water park Gino Paradise Bešeňová or Tatralandia.
