Just a few meters from the cottage is the Zemplínska Šírava water reservoir, which is a popular summer recreation spot. During the summer, you can swim here, try various water attractions and sports or go fishing. In case of bad weather, you can relax in the Thermal Šírava aquapark. You can take a trip in the area to Viniansky hrad, to Viniansky lake or to the district town with the Zemplínsky museum and observatory. The Vihorlatské museum and open-air museum in Humenné or Brekovský hrad are also worth a visit.
