For hiking, you can go to the Bezovec hill of the same name, to the ruins of Tematín, Topoľčiansky Castle, the Valy hillfort or to the lookout tower on Mahrát. Families with children will love to visit the New Zealand Zoo or the Ranch under Babicou with animals. In summer, you can cool off in Lake Horná Streda or at the swimming pool in nearby Piešťany.
