Object description
Penzion Helena offers family accommodation in a quiet and pleasant environment, where you can enjoy an undisturbed night and your entire stay. In the pension, we offer 4 four-bed family apartments with a total capacity of 16 beds. All accommodations are equipped with their own bathroom, bathroom with shower, living room, quality mattresses, comfortable furniture and a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchenette includes a cooker, microwave oven, kettle, fridge, dining area and the necessary dishes. A wireless Internet connection is a matter of course. There is a pleasant restaurant in the guesthouse, where you can order dinner for your stay. There is also an outdoor seating area under a pergola with a fireplace, which offers the possibility of summer barbecues. For the little ones, we have a children's playground with a sandpit, swings, trampoline and climbing frames. There is a summer pool in the garden, where you can enjoy a pleasant swim. We are also happy to accommodate you with a pet in the guesthouse. A parking lot is available for drivers right next to the guesthouse, with capacity for the entire building.
Pension Helena is located in the small village of Dolní Lomná, which is located in the Moravskoslezské Beskydy PLA. The village of Dolní Lomná is located in a beautiful valley through which the clean and clear Lomňanka river flows. Lomná is surrounded by the mountains Kozubová from the north, Skalka and Velký Polom from the south. Together with Horní Lomna, it forms a tourist route to the Velký and Malý Polo ridge. You can go further to Bíly Kříž. Beautiful tourist cottages can be found in Velké Polom, Slavíč, Kamenít, Kozubová. Dolní Lomná is sought after for its peace and beauty, for hiking and cycling, for mushroom picking and beautiful nature walks. For children, you will find a bobsleigh track, cable car, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, playrooms for children and many other attractions in the area. A highlight is the Mionší forest, which is accessible from August 1. until 30.9. The following events take place in Dolní Lomná every year: in July the Festival na pomezí and Vozataj races, in May the Silesian Days folklore festival, in October the Eurofair.

What activities do you recommend to your guests in the vicinity of the cottage? We recommend walking, hiking in the surrounding Beskydy Mountains, more demanding and less demanding, mushroom picking, visiting the triple border at Hrčava (the point where the Czech Republic meets Slovakia and Poland), cycling. There is also a bobsleigh track in the nearby village. A cycle path also goes through Dolní Lomná to Horní Lomná.
What activities do you recommend for children in the vicinity of the cottage? In case of good weather, there is an outdoor pool, swing, sandpit, slide, trampoline. In the center of the village of Dolní Lomné is the wooden Zbojnická trail. It is possible to use the bike paths for roller skates.
