The stylish Skalná ruža guest house welcomes you with open arms in the enchanting surroundings of the Slovak Karst National Park in the Gemer region. You have accommodation in the form of double and triple rooms, apartment Perlovec or house Roháč. The spacious and comfortably furnished rooms have a shower, toilet, refrigerator, extra bed and a kitchen common to four rooms, where you will find an electric stove with oven, microwave and refrigerator. The apartment has a separate entrance, bathroom with tub and toilet and a fully equipped kitchen. Domček Roháč is a suitable choice for families or people traveling with a pet. It consists of two comfortable rooms, kitchen and bathroom with bath and toilet. A TV and WiFi internet connection are a matter of course in all accommodation units.
The Skalná ruža guest house provides its guests with breakfast and dinner in the dining room, where there are also toys for the little ones. You can relax or unwind on the covered terrace surrounded by NP nature. For children there are swings, slides and a sandpit, for cars there are 7 parking spaces right next to the building. A useful part of the pension is a grocery store, where you can also buy newspapers, magazines and drugstores. In addition, you can bring souvenirs such as magnets, textiles, jewelery and paintings, as well as tourist information, where, in addition to maps, you will find practical advice for exploring the area. Discounts for families and groups or educational events for school and preschool groups are also provided.
Pension Skalná ruža awaits you on the border of Gemerská Hôrka and Plešivec in the Rožňava district as part of the Fairytale Kingdom of the Kraska snail. It is an important center for cycling, holder of the Welcome Cyclists certificate and you can rent bikes in it, ideal for bringing the beauties of the area closer. Horseback riding is available nearby, and the guest house is also a great base for trips within the Slovak Karst National Park. It is up to you whether you prefer the educational trail Krasové java Hôrky or mysterious and beautiful caves registered on the UNESCO List, such as Domica, Ochtinská aragonitová, Gombasecká and Krásnohorská caves.
