The charming gingerbread cottage is a typical Orava wooden house suitable for families with children and friends. The cottage consists of two triple, one double and one quadruple room. The gingerbread house is located in the Orava village of Istebné, which is known, for example, as the home of a unique articular church. The village falls under the district town of Dolný Kubín, where you can relax in the Aquarelax water park or visit the Orava Gallery, the Orava Museum, Florin's House or the historical cemetery. The educational trail will take you through Srňacie to the Vyšnokubín Rocks, and by bike you can head to Jasenová with the Martin Kukučín Memorial House or to the mansion in Vyšný Kubín. During the winter season, you can reach the first-class ski resort Skipark Kubínska hoľa, where you can of course also go hiking.
