You can spend your summer days on walks and hikes in the Prosiecká, Ráztocká and Kvačianská valleys or you can go up to the Proscečné and Pravnáč hills. On the other hand, in the winter you can ski in the ski center Žiar - Dolinky, Jasná - Chopok, Žiarce or in the Ski Center Opalisko. Families with children can take a trip to Babyland, Demänovské caves, ZOO Kontakt, Tatralandie or Liptovská Mara.
