The old house is a renovated homestead of our great-great-grandparents.
The old house was always a meeting place - a place where joy, good mood, food or good beer were shared. Together with music, surrounded by beautiful nature.
My husband and I loved to travel. We have now decided to settle in this wonderful village which we believe has a lot to offer both in winter and summer. We will be happy to tell you about (or point out) our favorite places. Our little family lives in this big house that we decided to rent. We have two small children - a three-year-old and a one-year-old daughter.
I, Magda, love baking, especially leavening. My dream is to offer guests a breakfast full of sourdough delicacies and interesting dinners full of Slovak and foreign specialties.
My husband Tomáš is from the Czech Republic. He loves beer. Good beer. We often have draft beer on tap, which we like to enjoy with our guests.
In winter, we would recommend cross-country trails or ski resorts. For persistent and courageous fighters, there is also an ascent to our majestic mountains – Babia hora and Pilsko. For families with children, there are routes with sledges that offer beautiful views of these landmarks and, with good visibility, the Tatras and other Slovak mountains.
And in the summer... It lives here in the summer! Cycling routes line our mountains, Babia hora is full of tourists, clean rivers invite refreshment. And in the evening, you can have a cold beer in the Old House and grill some good meat. You take out your guitar and sing and play by the bonfire.
