ACCOMMODATION UNDER THE ELM
in the southernmost part of South Bohemia, under the protection of a monumental elm, on the edge of the tourist-popular village of Žumberk, there is a romantic building where we offer private accommodation.
It is divided into two separate parts, APARTMENT IN THE COTTAGE and VÝMĚNEK. Each part can accommodate up to 10 guests and has its own private wellness. Both parts offer pleasant accommodation for spending a full-fledged holiday with complete privacy, especially when it is not adjacent to anyone.

APARTMENT IN THE COTTAGE occupies the ground floor of the main building of the First Republic building and we have 3 double rooms with bathrooms, a shared kitchen and a sitting area. The entrance is from a private relaxation garden with a pergola with a grill and an oven. In the garden there is a new wellness cottage with a luxurious heated swimming pool, a whirlpool and a Finnish sauna.
If the apartment remains unoccupied, it is offered 10 days before the date for individual rooms for 1300 CZK/night without access to the wellness (the price includes heating in the heating season, bed linen, towel, final cleaning)
ROOM 1. This spacious double room with a private bathroom with shower will especially appeal to lovers of rustic style thanks to the abundance of decorations from our great-grandmothers. Its advantage is the brightness thanks to three windows overlooking the garden. Comfort is guaranteed by a large double bed 200x200 cm with high-quality mattresses. The advantage is a period sofa bed, where up to 2 more guests can sleep cheaply (130x190cm). I recommend it to all age groups.
ROOM 2. The second double room will especially please romantic souls. It has a double bed with high-quality spring mattresses 160x200 cm and a sofa with a raised headboard. The room includes a tiny but cozy bathroom with a shower. The view again is of the flowers in the garden. I recommend it to all age groups.
ROOM 3 will please lovers of the art deco style of the interwar period. It has a large metal double bed 180x200 cm and a sofa bed 120x190 cm. There is a little less space between the sink and the toilet, so the room is not entirely suitable for strong and elderly guests. The view is again of the garden. The location by the shared kitchen is advantageous.

VÝMĚNEK is ideal for spending a holiday with 2 friendly families thanks to two apartments with bathrooms and kitchenettes. Spending free time together is possible in the pergola and especially in the glass winter garden with a heated pool, jacuzzi and real Finnish sauna.

STUDIO on the ground floor continues its atmosphere in the tradition of country style. It has its own bathroom with shower and its own equipped kitchenette in the hallway right at the entrance. Comfortable sleeping is guaranteed by a raised massive bed 180x200 cm with quality mattresses and a massive bunk bed. The room has a wardrobe, chest of drawers, sofa and table. I recommend it for a family or a couple. (1800-2000,-CZK/night)
MAISON APARTMENT offers a quiet and nice environment for a larger family or couple. The apartment consists of a living room with a sofa bed, a dining area with a kitchenette and a bathroom. Above all, there is an open sleeping area for 4 guests. The apartment is not suitable for guests with small children, dogs and those who are afraid of winding and steep stairs. (2000-2500,-CZK/night up to 4 people)

Each part (exchange-cottage) has its own privacy, does not adjoin the other or the owner's part and there is a great opportunity to rent this entire part especially during the summer holidays, when weekly tours with luxurious heated swimming pools are offered. More at www.ubytovanipodjilmem.cz

The village of Žumberk in the foothills of the Novohradské Mountains is an ideal choice for lovers of cycling, monuments, hiking... The entire Novohradsko region and the neighboring Witorazsko region invite you to visit many historical monuments and wander through picturesque nature full of forests, ponds and pastures, after all, this landscape is also located exactly between Třeboň and Šumava and carries the most valuable of them. Right in Žumberk you can visit a fortified fortress with several bastions, a dam, a church, a brewery, a restaurant. The origins of this village date back to the 13th century. Žumberk is located in the center of popular excursion destinations Český Krumlov, Hluboká nad Vltavou, Třeboň and Weitra.
