Brestovská jaskyňa Zuberec
V blízkosti skanzenu Múzeum oravskej dediny vás pri Zuberci očakáva tajuplná Brestovská jaskyňa, prvá z jaskýň regiónu Orava a Západné Tatry, ktorá je prístupná verejnosti. Prehliadka jaskyne trvá približne 50 minút, každý vstup je však s ohľadom na bezpečnosť obmedzený na 15 osôb. Je preto vhodné dohodnúť sa na presnom čase vašej návštevy vopred telefonicky alebo emailom prípadne sa pred príchodom informovať, či sú v daný deň ešte k dispozícii voľné vstupy. Do Brestovskej jaskyne možno vstúpiť s deťmi staršími než 6 rokov, pričom pri deťoch do 10 rokov je nutné absolvovať vstup s dospelým. V sintrovej výzdobe jaskyne vynikajú brká či stalaktity a v jej hlbinách leží riečisko, ktoré je významným zdrojom podzemnej vody. Ak navyše budete mať šťastie, možno počas vašej prehliadky uvidíte niektorého z deviatich druhov netopierov či iných živočíchov obývajúcich jaskyňu. Read on
