Officer's Pavilion in Komárne Komárno
V Komárne sa nachádza budova tzv. Dôstojníckeho pavilónu, ktorá patrí k najkrajším a najväčším historickým pamiatkam mesta. Bola postavená v polovici 19. storočia v novogotickom slohu. Návštevníkov určite zaujmú nárožné veže a severný portál na ktorom je nápis VIRIBUS UNITIS (v jednote je sila). Toto heslo používal cisár František Jozef I. Budova Dôstojníckeho pavilónu bola postavená pre potreby cisárskej a kráľovskej armády. Boli tu byty dôstojníkov a ich rodiny a aj veľké dôstojnícke kasíno. Dnes je v tejto budove univerzita, knižnica, reštaurácia, bar, polícia a iné. Medzi krídlami pavilónu je aj pre verejnosť prístupné nádvorie. Read on
