Slavin (Bratislava)
Na monumentálnom pamätníku Slavín je pochovaných 6845 sovietskych vojakov, ktorý zomreli pri oslobodzovaní Bratislavy a okolia v apríli 1945. Výstavbu tohto pamätníka dokončili v roku 1960. Monumentálny žulový pylón, ktorý stojí nad obradnou sieňou je vysoký 39,5 metra. Na vrchole tohto pylónu stojí socha víťazstva od A. Trizuliaka, ktorý zachytil vojaka v momente, keď vztyčuje bojovú zástavu nad oslobodenou krajinou. Dreviny prinesené z rozličných oblastí bývalého Sovietskeho zväzu obklopujú pamätník. Read on
