Carpentry Dúpence Hontianske Tesáre
V lesoch pri obci Hontianske Tesáre nájdete zaujímavú turistickú atrakciu - tzv. Dúpence. Jedná sa o skalné skrýše, ktoré sú vytesané do strmého pieskovcového svahu. Tieto nevšedné obydlia v minulosti slúžili pravdepodobne ako útočiská ľudu pred Turkami. Podľa miestnej tradície však slúžili už v minulosti počas tatárskych bojov v prvej polovici 13. storočia. V týchto lesoch nájdete 4 skalné skrýše, ktoré sú nazvané podľa počtu komôrok. Nachádzajú sa tu dve Jednodierky, Dvojdierka a Osemdierka. Najviac určite zaujme Osemdierka, ktorej vstupný otvor je asi 20 m nad zemou. Z centrálneho priestranstva je možný vstup do ôsmich izieb, z ktorých sú 4 veľké a 4 malé. V tejto lokalite nájdete aj informačné tabuľky, ktoré informujú o skalných obydliach. Pomocou pomocných lán sa dostanete do ťažko prístupných skrýš. Read on
