Brankovský waterfall Korytnica
In the woods below the top of the great gates, on the western edge of the Low Tatras is 55 meter waterfall Brankovský. This waterfall is the highest in the Low Tatras and the third highest in Slovakia. It falls from the rock face Kurečka rocks. At this point it is interesting climate, because you feel the flow and mixing of cold and warm air. It is best to visit this waterfall after snowmelt or following large rain. In winter, when frost solid bar creates ice columns with lots of icicles. The Brankovský waterfall can be reached by marked hiking trails from the village Podsuchá. Read on
