Ponitrie Kľak
Vrch Zobor je najjužnejším vrchom na území CHKO Ponitrie. Ponitrie vyhlásili v roku 1985 s rozlohou 37 665 ha za chránenú krajinnú oblasť. Severná časť- rozprestiera sa na vulkanickom komplexe pohoria Vtáčnik je zaujímavá bizarnými skalnými útvarmi. Južná časť - v pohorí Tribeč sú typické početné skalky, ktoré sa vyskytujú najmä po okrajoch pohoria. Na niektorých okrajoch pohorí stoja ruiny hradov Gýmeš, Čierny hrad a Oponický hrad.
