Trasa: k horskému hotelu Sliezsky dom vedie cesta popri 15 m vysokom Velickom vodopáde od dolinovej trasy Kvetnica. Z nej sa treba vybrať doľava na neznačkovaný chodník, ktorý vedie do Velickej próby a tá je zvyčajne už výstupovou cestou na Gerlachovský štít. Zostupuje sa opatrne, pomaly po Batizovskej próbe.
