Neďaleko Nitry, v obci Mojmírovce sa nachádza barokovo - klasicistický kaštieľ, ktorý bol postavený v 18. storočí pre rod Hunyadyovcov, ktorí boli vášnivými chovateľmi koní. Tento rod založil chov uhorského teplokrvníka a postavil dostihovú dráhu neďaleko Mojmíroviec, na ktorej sa v roku 1814 uskutočnili prvé konské dostihy v strednej Európe. Dnes sa kaštieľ využíva ako hotel s reštauráciou, bazénom, saunou a rôznymi športoviskami. V parku, ktorý obklopuje kaštieľ je budova niekdajšieho žrebčína, ktorá sa dnes využíva ako veľká kongresová sála. Read on
