In the House of Culture in the village of Krasno is Kysucou History Museum, which houses two permanent exhibitions of natural sciences and humanities. The natural science exposition is the flora and fauna of northwestern Slovakia. There is also a replica mammoth female life-size. A similar female skeleton was found near the city. In the second exposure is archaeological, historical and ethnographic museum collection, which presents the history Kysúc from prehistory to modern times.
