The cottage is located in the village of Kněždub at the foot of the White Carpathians in the district of Hodonín. Nearby you can admire the famous town of Strážnice with its castle, park and open-air museum. Moravské Slovácko is a region rich in tradition, folklore, monuments and the beautiful, pure nature of the Protected Landscape Area of the White Carpathians. There are many cycle paths in the vicinity, along which you can ride and admire the picturesqueness of the region. In addition to the recreational reservoir Lučina, the Kejda breeding pond, where it is possible to fish after purchasing a permit, and the Pusté fallow deer reserve are located near the cottage. To the west you will see the Chřiby Mountains with their dominant castle Buchlov, below it Buchlovice with its castle, the pilgrimage site Velehrad with its basilica, and next to it is Modrá with an archeo-open-air museum and the Living Water exhibition. It is not far from the Lednice-Valtice area, Slovakia or Austria. In winter, you can use the ski area in Radějov, which is 10 kilometers away, or the Filipovo údolí area, which is of better quality near the village of Lopeník.
