History, achievements and statistics of the project

The project was launched in 2007. The original idea arose from the ChatyNaPredaj.sk project. Based on the success, we created ChatyNaSlovensku.sk as another website. After a few months in 2008, we renamed the project to Hauzi.com and its name has remained until today. During the operation of the project, we bought the domains UbytovanieNaSlovensku.sk, UNS.sk (this domain is an abbreviation of the initial letters of the project name) as well as other domains in order to get more foreign visitors:

A breakthrough in the success of the project occurred in the summer of 2008, when there was a massive number of new registrations. Since then, we have devoted ourselves to the site. Several people work on this project every day. We have been the most visited accommodation portal in Slovakia for several years. Currently, the number of visitors is around 10,000 people per day and we are growing every year. The closest competition has a visit of up to 2000 people per day. At the end of 2011, we managed to break the threshold of 2500 accommodations on the site. Practically, according to statistics, this means that almost every second accommodation provider in Slovakia presents itself with us. According to statistics, there are about 5,000 active professional accommodation providers in Slovakia.
