In the Hradec Králové region in the Jičín district, you will come across the picturesque village of Samšina with 250 inhabitants. The small village of Plhov falls under its management, where the Plhov cottage awaits you. The surrounding beautiful landscape is the gateway to the Bohemian Paradise. Not far away is Sobotka, the town of Fráni Šrámek, where a well-known, annual fair is held. Up to 17 people can find accommodation here. Upstairs is a bedroom with two single beds, one double bed and its own bathroom (bathroom with toilet). The second bedroom upstairs also has four beds with a possible extra bed and its own bathroom. On the ground floor there are two bedrooms, each with four beds, which share a bathroom. Next to them is a large living room, used as a kitchen, dining room and space for spending free time together. In the kitchen, there is a stove, fridge with freezer, kettle and enough dishes for all guests. Guests can use a large garden with outdoor seating and a grill, a trampoline and, during the holidays, a swimming pool for refreshment in the summer heat. The building is heated by direct heaters in the individual rooms, and in the living room it is possible to heat it with a fireplace stove. Parking is right next to the building on a fenced lot.

Samšina - a strategically located village for lovers of discovering the beauties of the Bohemian Paradise, landmarks both in Jičín and the surrounding area, as well as in Mladá Boleslav, it lies on the border of its district. Let's name at least a few opportunities for everyone. Prachovské skály will offer the beauty of sandstone rocks and the views from them. Just below them are the Jinolické ponds, where you can swim and enjoy the view of the rocks or the sunset from a rented paddle boat or boat. Kost Castle, Humprecht Castle, summer water park in Jičín Kníže, swimming pool with attractions in Jičín and Mladá Boleslav are within reach. Here you can visit Boleslav Castle, the Škoda Museum, the ruins of Michalovická putne and Zvířetice, where the fairy tale took place. The swimming pool in Mladá Boleslav or the castle in Mnichov Hradiště are nice. This list is far from complete and it is difficult to visit at least half of the places worth attention in one stay.
