Chata Salaš Žiar welcomes you in cosily equipped attic rooms. We have 6 rooms with TV and Wi-Fi internet ready for our guests. A shared bathroom is available for every two rooms. Guests can also use a small kitchen corner, which is common to all rooms, to prepare tea, coffee or heat up food for babies and small children. On the ground floor of the building there is a restaurant with stylish equipment. We serve traditional sheep's milk products and delicious Slovak cuisine. The restaurant has a children's corner with toys. In the exterior you will find many attractions for children. There is a children's playground with a trampoline, a cable car, slides, climbing frames, a sandbox, houses for children and many other attractions. There is also a golf tee or the possibility of riding a carriage, horse or small pony. The exterior is an ideal place for organizing summer weddings, corporate events or family celebrations. You can also rent a restaurant.

Chalet Salaš is located in the village of Žiar. Žiarska dolina is one of the popular locations of the Western Tatras. There are suitable conditions for hiking and cycling. The ski center Skicentrum Dolinky is right in the village. Opalisko ski resort in Závažná Poruba or Jasná - Nízke Tatry are a few minutes away by car. In winter, you can also try cross-country skiing. You can find interesting cultural and historical monuments in the district town of Liptovský Mikuláš. Throughout the year, you can relax in the water park Tatralandia with Zoo Kontakt and also in Gino Paradise Bešeňová.
