Low Tatras National Park Dolná Lehota
Prírodné krásy Nízkych Tatier v roku 1978 vyhlásili s rozlohou 811 km2 a ochranným pásmom 1 240 km2 za Národný park Nízke Tatry (NAPANT). V roku 1997 sa zmenili hranice NAPANT - u z dôvodu účinnejšieho uplatňovania ochrany prírody na 728 km2 a ochranné pásmo sa zmenilo na 1 102 km2. Touto zmenou sa stal Národný park Nízke Tatry najrozľahlejším slovenským národným parkom. Najvyššie nízkotatranské končiare sú Chopok a Ďumbier. Najväčším postrachom parku sa stáva jeho obyvateľ medveď hnedý.
