The Žiarska cottage here is also an ideal starting point for a trip to the Šarafiovév waterfall and various hikes within the Western Tatras, for example the ascent to the Baranec hill. High-quality skiing is provided by the Skicentrum Žiar - Dolinky, while relaxation by the water is provided by the Liptovská Mara reservoir and the popular Tatralandia water park.
