Slovak Clock Stará Bystrica
V obci Stará Bystrica nájdete nádhernú turistickú atrakciu - Slovenský orloj, ktorý sa nachádza na námestí v centre obce. Tento orloj je najväčšou drevenou sochou na Slovensku. Je v tvare štylizovanej Panny Márie, ktorá je patrónkou Slovenska. Vonkajšia výzdoba je tvorená sochami významných osobností našich dejín. Nachádza sa tu napríklad nitrianske knieža Pribina, veľkomoravský vladár Svätopluk, národovec a politik Anton Bernolák, Ľudovít Štúr, Milan Rastislav Štefánik a Andrej Hlinka. Každú celú hodinu môžete vidieť na orloji sošky svätcov, ktorí sú spätý s históriou Slovenska - napríklad sv. Cyril a Metod, sv. Svorad a Benedikt alebo sv. Gorazd. K orloju patria hodiny aj astroláb, na ktorom môžete vidieť polohu slnka a mesiaca, mesačné fázy a znamenia zverokruhu. Read on
