Pohorie Poľana a jeho vrch je v lete vyhľadávanou turistickou oblasťou kvôli zaujímavej vulkanickej minulosti pohoria a v zime zase z dôvodu lyžiarskeho strediska, ktoré sa nachádza pod vrcholom Poľany vo výške 1260 m n. m.
