Draškovičovský mansion in Čachtice
V dedinke Čachtice, ktorá je preslávená svojou "krvavou grófkou" Alžbetou Báthoryovou sa nachádza okrem hradu aj krásny renesančný kaštieľ, ktorý je situovaný nad obcou na vŕšku. Bol postavený v 17. storočí na rozkaz pôvodom chorvátskeho šľachtica Mikuláša Draškoviča. V tomto kaštieli sa nachádza múzeum, ktoré je pobočkou Trenčianskeho múzea. Nachádza sa tu expozícia, ktorá zobrazuje históriu a ľudové tradície obce. Zobrazuje aj činnosť kultúrneho spolku Tatrín, ktorý tu mal svoje štvrté zasadnutie v roku 1847. Tu sa rozličné prúdy slovenského národného hnutia dohodli na to, že prijmú štúrovčinu ako spisovný národný jazyk Slovákov. Read on
