Florin house in Dolny Kubin Dolný Kubín

In the historical center of Dolny Kubin is originally a dyeing house, which was inhabited in the years 1953 - 1973 Slovak poet, journalist, diplomat and educator Theodore Herkeľom Florin. It has the merit of organizing a nationwide tour of artistic recitation - Hviezdoslavov Kubin. Since 1997, this house is a memorial room TH Florina established by the Orava Museum of PO Hviezdoslav. You can see the original equipment rooms and exhibition Florinova poetry books and personal items. The exhibition is supplemented as well as video - text materials. In the remaining areas of the house is a museum, which hosts temporary exhibitions of the natural and social sciences. Read on
