Spis castle in Štiavnik Betlanovce
Renesančný kaštieľ stojí na mieste, kde v minulosti stál opevnený kláštor, ktorý bol sídlom cisterciánskeho opátstva. Keďže v 16. storočí kláštor trpel vojnami medzi feudálmi bol prestavaný najskôr na pevnosť, neskôr na šľachtickú rezidenciu. Istý čas sa využíval ako letné sídlo pre biskupov. Posledná prestavba kaštieľa bola podľa návrhu slovenského architekta Dušana Jurkoviča. Areál kaštieľa je tvorený hospodárskymi budovami a kaplnkou, ktorá bola postavená z materiálov z pôvodného stredovekého kláštora. Kaštieľ je opustený a nie je prístupný pre verejnosť. V blízkom okolí kaštieľa je verejný park s jazierkami, lavičkami, detským ihriskom a možnosťou jazdy na koni. Read on
