Starohutská waterfall Veľká Lehota
Glassy stream creates a nice 5-meter high waterfall Starohutská only 300 m north of the village of Stara Huta (urban part of the New Bane). A waterfall falling into a rock amphitheater, which is also a great natural creation. Amphitheater is composed of volcanic rocks of andesite, which is characterized by remarkable cleat block, which you can see the stone walls around the waterfall. The spring season is the most beautiful waterfall because it has the largest glassy stream flow. An interesting view of the waterfall is in winter, when frozen. In the water flow of the waterfall live crayfish black, which is now very rare. In this site you can glimpse the wall lizard or salamander.
