Great Frog tarn Mengusovské Štôla
FROGS mountain lakes in the basin will find known and popular Big Frog Mountain Lake Mengusovské. The tarn is originally glacial lake and has dimensions of 287 x 170 mA its size is one of the larger Slovak balls. It located at an altitude of up to 1900 m. This mountain lake is surrounded by massive peaks, which are suitable for hiking and climbing. The ball can be reached by marked trails from Popradské fungi that belongs together with Štrbské Pleso The most common starting point to this site. Near the Great kill plesa Mengusovský find the Small Frog tarn Mengusovské that is not accessible to the public. Read on
