Large Choc Valaská Dubová
Jeden z najkrajších vrchov Slovenska, Veľký Choč, bol často ospevovaný i samotným známym a uznávaným básnikom Pavlom Országhom Hviezdoslavom, ktorého rodnou obcou je Vyšný Kubín ležiaci priamo pod Chočom. Je dobre viditeľný zo Štrby a z celej dolnej Oravy. Vrchol Veľkého Choča s výškou 1611 m n. m. je regulárne vyhľadávaný turistami. Vystúpiť naň sa dá po štyroch turistických trasách a za najkrajšie sa považujú výstupy z Lúčok alebo z Vyšného Kubína. Samotný Veľký Choč má tvar nepravidelnej pyramídy a na vrchu je pokrytý kosodrevinou. Read on
