Do you long for a peaceful holiday in the forest by the lake? You are in the right place with us. Chata Laura is located in the recreational area of Gazárka, near the town of Šaštín - Stráže na Záhorí.

Gazárka recreation center is popular mainly due to its gravel lake, as well as sports and cultural events held here. The shores of the lake are covered by a beautiful sandy beach, and the surrounding pine and oak forests offer opportunities for mushroom picking and walks. In addition to sunbathing and swimming, you can go boating, pedal boating or fishing here, you can play beach volleyball and tennis while your children have fun on the children's playgrounds. You can take a trip to Plavecká jaskyna or Derava skaly, or visit one of the nearby castles and chateaux (such as Plavecká castle, Ostrý kamen castle, Holičský castle, Sobotiště manor house, Smolenický castle, Kuchyňa or Branč castle). If you fancy Gazárka, you can also find many other natural reservoirs and lakes here. The local Basilica of Our Lady in Šaštín, which has become a place of pilgrimage, is also worth a visit. For cyclists, there are many cycling routes in the vicinity, and in winter cross-country tracks and the possibility of ice skating for cross-country skiers.

We offer our guests year-round accommodation with a total capacity for 11 people. Chata Laura is a two-story house suitable for the accommodation of one group and is rented as a whole object.

The ground floor of the cottage consists of a cozy living room (you can also use it as a bedroom) with a fireplace, a dining area, a double bed, a TV with cable reception and access to a terrace with seating. For those who like to cook, there is a fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove and oven, an electric kettle, a microwave oven, a fridge with a freezer and a coffee maker. There is also a bedroom with a double bed and one extra bed on a folding chair. The ground floor also includes a separate toilet and bathroom with a shower, toilet, towels and a drying rack.

On the upper floor of the cottage there is a common room (you can also use it as a bedroom) with a fireplace, a folding couch, folding chairs, a TV with cable reception, a radio, board games and access to a balcony with seating and a beautiful view of the forest. This room offers the possibility of up to four extra beds on the couch and armchairs. The common room also includes a fully equipped kitchenette with a bar table and two chairs. Guests have at their disposal a fridge with a freezer, an electric kettle, a gas stove with an oven, a microwave and a coffee maker. You will also find a bedroom with two separate beds.

In the exterior of the building, you can sit on the common terrace under the shelter during your stay, grill something tasty on the grill or cook an excellent kettle stew on the fire. In addition, you have a garden swing and a hammock at your disposal. Children can play in the sandpit with toys or swing on the swing. In the premises of our garden, we have also prepared a volleyball net, badminton and Russian skittles for you. When it rains outside, in addition to party games, you can play table tennis or darts.

If an indoor shower is not enough for you, you can also use one shower with solar water heating on our garden terrace. At the same time, our guests have at their disposal six free parking spaces in a fenced building.
