Mala Fatra National Park Belá (okres Žilina)
V roku 1967 bola krivánska časť Malej Fatry vyhlásená za chránenú krajinnú oblasť. V roku 1988 túto oblasť vyhlásili za Národný park Malá Fatra s rozlohou 226 km2, jeho ochranné pásmo má rozlohu 233 km2. Hlavným predmetom ochrany sú najmä porasty kosodreviny, vzácne rastliny a dravé živočíchy. Pre návštevníkov sú zaujímavé Horné a Dolné Diery, Šútovský vodopád, vrcholy Malý Rozsutec, Veľký Rozsutec a Veľký Fatranský Kriváň.
