Haban Museum in Great Leváre consists of 22 buildings of folk architecture. Haban represents the largest site in the original condition, not only in Slovakia but also throughout Europe. Characterized by the multi-storey houses with clay roof. Habana, or the Baptists, came to Slovakia from Germany in the 17th - 19th century. They were skilled in the production of ceramic tiles, tiles and wood processing. There have been religious persecution, most of them traveled further through Europe and eventually settled in America.
