Vyšné Wahlenbergovo tarn Štôla
Vyšné Wahlenbergovo Mountain Lake is the second highest located glacial lake in the High Tatras in Slovakia. The highest situated tarn is Blue Lake. Vyšné Wanhlenbergovo mountain lake is 335 m long, wide 222 mA is situated at the top of Furkotska valley at an altitude of 2157 m. Most of this tarn frozen, late 20th century it used to thaw only two months, but for example in 1911 thawed only 10 days. Over tarn rises Furkotský shield. The ball can be reached by marked trails from Strbske Pleso. Read on
