Gallery of folk carving in Babila Babín
The village is set up Babín gallery of folk carving, which is located in the premises of the old school. In the gallery you will find a permanent exhibition of wooden sculptures, dozens of works of art that were created by non-professional carvers from Orava, Kysuce, Liptov and other regions of Slovakia. Regularly are held international woodcarving plein air, which will be held in honor of Stephen carver Sivan, who was one of the most naive artists in Slovakia. The exhibited works mostly show rural life - shepherding, alpine dairy, field work, religion and motherhood. Read on
