V Kremnici sa nachádza historický meštiansky dom, ktorý je spojený s budovou Mestského domu. V minulosti tu sídlil komorský gróf, ktorý bol najvyšším kráľovským úradníkom v kremnickej banskej oblasti. Táto stavba je prepojená podzemnou chodbou s hradom a radnicou. Stavba meštianskeho domu patrí k najvzácnejším stavbám tohto druhu na Slovensku aj vďaka vzácnej diamantovej klenbe v interiéry. Pre návštevníkom mesta je najväčšou atrakciou budovy kamenná hlava, ktorá pripomína prasaciu hlavu a ešte sú tu 2 vyčnievajúce balvany, ktoré sa podobajú bochníku chleba. Podľa legendy tieto útvary patria k bohatej, ale nesmierne lakomej meštianke, ktorá tu bývala. Kedysi jej zaklopala na dvere biedna dievčina, ktorá prosila o kúsok chleba, ale lakomá meštianka sa na ňu rozkričala, že dá radšej najesť sviniam ako jej. Chytila dva bochníky chleba, ktoré hodila smerom k chlievu. Tieto bochníky skôr ako padli na zem sa zmenili na kamene a pani domu sa premenila na sviňu. Read on
