V Banskej Štiavnici sa nachádza aj starý evanjelický cintorín, ktorý je situovaný na vŕšku za Klopačkou. Na tomto cintoríne je pochovaná aj rodáčka tohto mesta Mária Pischlová - Marína, ktorá bola najväčšou múzou slovenskej ľúbostnej poézie pre básnika Andreja Sládkoviča. Sládkovič bol v rodine Pischlovcov domácim učiteľom a tak vznikla láska medzi nim a Marínou. Žiaľ, táto láska ostala nenaplnená, lebo Marína sa musela na želanie matky vydať za bohatého pernikára. Na tomto cintoríne sú pochovaní aj významní profesori z banskoštiavnickej Baníckej akadémie. Read on
