The ruins of the church in STRÁNSKÝ Stránske
V Stránskom sa nachádza gotický kostol sv. Heleny, ktorý bol postavený koncom 13. alebo v 14. storočí. Už počas jeho aktívneho využívania mal kostol problémy so statikou, lebo sa v jeho múroch objavovali trhliny. Keďže ho v 19. storočí vážne poškodilo zemetrasenie, kostol sa prestal využívať a začal chátrať. Dnes sa tu zachovala len zrúcanina s obvodovými múrmi, kamennou vežou a niektoré gotické architektonické články. Zaujímavé sú pozostatky z renesančných fresiek, ktoré sú viditeľné na triumfálnom oblúku. Dnes je zrúcanina kostola národnou kultúrnou pamiatkou. Read on
