In Turčianskom Jase is a small village museum Pamätnica Jesenskovcov. There are two permanent exhibitions. The first exhibition is devoted to the history of the village as the action of the members of the family Turčiansky Jesenský, whose roots are in the Upper brightness - in the part of the Turiec Jasena. Perhaps the most important personality of the family was a famous poet, novelist and translator Janko Jesenský. Slovak patriots was a co-organizer of major events of Slovak national life. In the second exposure you can learn about the life and works of the Renaissance scholar, philosopher and doctor Jan Jessenius, which is known first public autopsy of the human body, which was held in Prague in 1600.
