We offer accommodation in a Valašská roubenka on the outskirts of the village of Velké Karlovice. The cottage is built in a beautiful location with a large open space around the cottage and a view of the forest with grazing deer. The cottage is within walking distance to the center of the village (approx. 500m) and 200m from the Velké Karlovice - Vsetín bike path.

The accommodation is especially suitable for families with children, it offers a capacity of 10 people.

About the cottage

You will live in a pleasant new Wallachian log house on the outskirts of the village of Velké Karlovice. The house is built in harmony with nature, the structure of the house is made of raw wood, sheep's wool from a local supplier is used to insulate the house. Sheep's wool acts as a spatial filter and a natural air purifier, it can break down some pollutants in the interior. It maintains an optimal level of moisture, does not irritate the skin or respiratory tract and is completely harmless to health. We tried to adapt the house mainly to children, they will find an oven here like from a fairy tale. Even adults can lie on the stove and warm their backs nicely after a difficult hike or winter fun. In the summer, thanks to the building materials used, the building has a pleasant internal temperature and there is also the possibility of sitting outside with a barbecue.


The location offers ideal conditions for both summer and winter holidays.

Bedrooms and rooms: 2 x separate rooms - each with 4 beds, 1 x bedroom - double bed + (possibility of a child's travel cot).

Social facilities: 2 x bathroom, 2 x shower, 1 x bathtub, 3 x separate toilet (1 x children's board), relaxation room with dry sauna.

Heating: gas heating with distribution for underfloor heating, possibility to heat in the oven (fully functional even for cooking or baking in the oven, heating elements in the rooms upstairs.
